One Water’s Purpose
One Water Houston is a roadmap for managing our city’s drinking water supply and addressing both wastewater and stormwater challenges to meet the needs of our community and the environment in a reliable and sustainable way.
Why It’s Important
As Houston's population continues to grow, and climate change and other factors introduce new challenges to our water quality and availability, One Water Houston aims to enhance Houston’s water resiliency.

How It Benefits You
Your engagement helps shape Houston's future water management through community collaboration. Let's build a vibrant, sustainable future together.
What should One Water focus on?
Drinking Water
Houston drinking water meets or exceeds Federal and State regulations.
Wastewater
